well. tonights flight went well... first mission we had to intercept the stukas. are glorious forces shot down the offenders!

second mission we had to take the russian uber heavy bombers to bomb a fascist airfield. only 2 returned alive...

I really wonder why some of my control settings are not as they were in my normal Il2 version. I copied the conf.ini from my standad to the *******ing 1.1 version twice by now and still some control and plane settings are not as they should be.

My bomb delay is always at 3.0 sec. No idea why it was at 0.0 sec in the stupid 1.1 version.

BTW this is my 1000th post for the glorious people of our beloved motherland.

I have no Missions for tonight, and don't have the time today to make some as I have to attend to driving school during my afternoon break.

also I'm running out of idea's for the missions/campaigns and running out of steam like this.

to say it bluntly, yes this campaign/idea is binned.

OK well lets collaborate on making a campaign.

I have an idea for a fun dogfight map.

Head over to THAT site and download the Grand Canyon map and anything else that is needed.

I'll host tonight as I quite like our jaunts.

I'm at work but could someone list any coops they find anywhere even if they are single mission ones that might be good.

I'll look at the Grand Canyon thing....that could be a laugh.

Okay, how about this: We'll ask for volunteers and then let each one do a small semi-historical campaign (4-8 sorties) about a specific engagement in sequence, that way we'll keep things moving and not restrict ourselves to what a single person can come up with

EDIT: Now that I think about it, we can decide on an operation or a battle, and then let different people do specific parts of it (So, we could, for example, decide we're running the Battle of Stalingrad, and then do small campaigns about the German attack, Operation Uranus, Operation Winter Storm and so forth...)

Sadly i'm going to have to miss a few flight nights till i decide what the hell i'm going to do about this UI1.1. Like Schroeder im experiencing some wierd stuff.
ie: control panel,half the bloody text is in russian ''only when i'm online'' offline its all English and i found the power10 button to assign for bomb bay doors.

assigned keys in the control panel reverting back to default when leaving the game

still having probs with the custom skins,hence ive been using stockskins. but stock and v1.0 there fine.

also when using 1.1 some missions/campaigns are like slideshows, they should be running like butter of a knife with this current rig..2x1gig 9500gt in sli mode with 8gig of ram

yet stock or v1.0 runs smooth as silk.

So it looks like im going to have to spend a bit time disabling mods one at a time till i get the game running the way i want.

[edit] also occasionaly when ai spawns damn game minimises to task bar, bit frustrating when you get it back up and your spinning out of control [edit]
