Black 3D Model in S3deditor

why some models in s3editor looks black while other looks fine

Some. dat files contain only the name of the texture itself .the tga file may be located in a different location. Put it in the game and then open it. It is probably located in data/Textures/TNormal/tex or folder data/Sea/NPRT_T01.tga and you will be lucky.

You are right the cfg# label is different from the file after I correct it it goes back to normal.Thank you.
