Please fix the aspect ratio of the movie to widescreen, so that it's not overstreched vertically as it is now (at least Departure).

As far as I know SH5 stretches the video to fill the screen.

So if you have for example a 16:10 screen the video will be slightly stretched, but not that big of a deal.

But even worse If you have an old 4:3 screen it will be very stretched.

The only thing I can think of is cutting off the sides of the video so it's stretched evenly but I don't know what program to do that with.
And I don't think it would look good that way anyway..

so if you use an old 4:3, the real solution would be; get a new screen
sorry

(unless someone else can think of something?)

No, I have a 16:9 Bravia TV. Well in that case, black bars should be added on top and below of the movie.

I only have a 16:10 so I wasn't surprised the 16:9 video was slightly stretched on my screen.

but the 16:9 video on your 16:9 screen is still stretched?, thats very strange.
I used RAD Video Tools to convert it to .bik for SH5 as it is, without changing the aspect..
so I don't get how it could be stretched on your screen.

Download for movie 3 dont work.

I click the "Download Now" button, and it goes to the page where it tells you to wait for the download or "click here" to download... But Then it just goes back to the first apage.

The other 2 movies download just fine.

I only have a 16:10 so I can't test this, but on a 16:9 screen the video should appear perfectly (as in not stretched).
Can anyone with a 16:9 screen please confirm this for me?

Oddly enough, either its my eyes or what I"m not sure, but it doesn't seem to be streatched out at all on my 4:3 22" CRT Monitor.

*edit* nope, its smashed in the sides. It didn't show up in the Alarm!! sequence, but in the departure one it became apparent that all those slow moving people were looking taller and skinnier than they should. Hmm. . . guess I'll have to figure out how to convert video to .bik format.

*edit* ok, downloaded RAD tools, took a look at the video. its in a 4:3 format, but it appears to have been squished to that from its native aspect ratio.
