Good counters to my answer above. An oil filter might look like that, but would certainly have a cover over it. Probably an air filter then. But, as pointed out by everyone, it probably is its own connection, and no hoses or anything should be added.

Incredible work, you're going to bring a new sense of life to the boat with this one. Any chance we'll see crew members in there?

Actually having a few pops and watching Das Boot right now, will follow up with a hop into Operation Monsun to cap off my U-Boat evening.

No, everything looks in proportion. I know the Torsk has hand wheels that are very large and others that are small. Really, all looks great! In fact, the two hand wheels you are talking about are very large on the Torsk. These wheels are about 200 pounds each. So, no, you hand wheel looks fine.

My poor computer drawing skills. I have circled this wheel on the Torsk. It is large like yours. In fact, I think you are dead on with your wheel size.

This is an entire interior mod, for SH4, type II class u-boats?

Congratulations Tommy very well done

May be I am wrong but the valve on the ceiling of the sub looks a bit oversized

I think it is fine Tomi. Those large hand wheels are that large so one can turn the screw to whatever valve needs to be shut. The Torsk two wheels are probably 3 feet in diameter. No joke, they are about 200 pounds each. The picture you have here and what you did look fine.

Now run away before others break out their slide rules, compasses and micrometers checking sizes down to the micron.
