Cold and rain today in much of CA; the 3100 acre nasty terrain Cave Fire in Santa Barbara Mtns. is 85% contained due in great part to the snow and rain. 50 firecrew still working on smokey hotspots; evacuated residents are informed there's little concern!

I will be filling the forms in tomorrow and I've noticed there is a 'comments' section so I'm thinking of writing something along the lines of "You have checked my background further than simply just the electoral register haven't you? As an ex-policeman, wouldn't you simply be eliminated in the pre-selection voir dire process? I'm always dismissed for cause simply for being married to an ex district attorney. Unfortunately, being deaf no longer helps; they issue headsets for the hard of hearing!
