"Determined" but not smart escort

Intercepted a NYGM 1942 convoy, radarized escorts. One picked me up and has been chasing me for 140kms now. Still going at it.
Distance maintains at 4k from each other, he lobs a shell now and then, falls way short.

I don't think it's escort commander will be to pleased at it leaving the convoy like this.........<g>

Not the most realistic ai action, hopefully it'll give up soon........

Hory chow! About as stupid as the bombers in LSH who kamikaze themselves when they attack you. I am responsible for the obliteration of at least a wing, not from direct action, but from being attacked by google-eyed pilots. If they're not slamming into the ocean, they are getting caught in their own bomb blasts or smashing into each other in their haste to gang bang me.

"The Gang Who Couldn't Shoot Straight." Even with all the excellent work done by modders, there are still some basic, bad flaws in the game.

Most if not all due to hardcode limitations.
