It is a huge amount of weapons they got in the net. For those who these weapons was intended for it may have stinged a little

Take a close look at the captured weapons pictures already posted

Notice anything funny?

A sailor or a whole lot of sailors had to put them there and it looks very close to the edge of the deck they are on.

Someone was in jeopardy of falling overboard

Actually, in looking closely at your great photo, methinks those safety netting all around the stern, not unlike the no-jump nets on the Golden Gate, make the stern area pretty safe from a man-overboard incident happening. I just wonder who had to meticulously postion everything in the hot Middle East for some damn photo op. Especially in an area where we've fired at harassing Iranian vessels. The stateless dhow vessel carrying the arms might not have been so stateless in the Yemeni 'client war' involving the now deprived recipient Houthi N. Yemen tribesmen, Saudis, and the Iranian Republican Guard...ie: playing Wyatt Earp in the Strat of Hormuz is miserable work and detracts from of greater threats in the far western Pacific/Taiwan/S.China Sea theater of operations-where a lot of those weapon came from!

Correct me if I am wrong, but those safety nets go up and down, right?

Isn't that a deck for a helicopter to land on?

My guess is they started on the outside and worked their way inward.
