+1
It's pointless to begin to discuss supermods while the game is 3 and half months old.
As Ducimus says, it will take years to get SHV to what is should be and that's only if everyone stays intreasted and pulls their creative weight...
If a supermod comes out in the next few months, I doubt it wouldnt be much more than a compilation of the current mods, (not that that would be a bad thing)
SHV needs the broke stuff fixed AND it needs new stuff.
Half the war is missing for starters, I'd love to see a playable allied sub or two, but we dont even have the Type IX yet.

I enjoyed it stock and I enjoy it more-so with the mods that have come out. And yes, I think it was worth the 50$ I put down for it.

Hummm maybe I need to try SH4 again. Just like SH5, I bought it when it first came out (regretted it), played it for about 10-20 hours with each patch and was disappointed, bought the PAY for Patch expansion (Uboat missions), played for 20 hours... shelved it due to immersion killing bugs. Havent played it since...

So what MODS would folks recommend for SH4? I like MEG Mods so I dont have to fiddle with installing 100 mods only to have to find the 10 conflicting mods....

Yeah I'm on SH4 right now, these mods have given new life like a reborn sim, thats if you like the Uboats campain.

Spax SH4 Uboat SPeech FIX_V8
OpsMonsun V705
OM 705 to 720
OM v720 patch4
OMEGU v300 + patch7

I recon I will get SH5 if only to support it at some point, at the moment though SH4 has my full attention. I find the UBM the only way. The only improvent I could ask is a Jap boat to take on the mighty USA, or even a Brit boat to sink the Uboats.

When you ponder the possibilties that this sim could offer I recon Ubi only scratched the bottom thanks

As it is now. sh-5 is great with tons of mods. But if you have sh-5 with all the mods it needs to make it something like gwx its good , but the problem is you have so many mods that they conflict with each other and the game becomes unstable.

I had the same y/n question before... SH5 had so many negative comments, don't blame me for this..
Then I regretted for my 4GB download space and 6GB install space...
It is more "game" than "sim", imo it is a complex version of silent hunter online.
The only good side of SH5 is that, it provides a good frame for modders and scripters.
