Default Realism Settings and 1 more question

Could please anyone help me with the following questions:

1.- When the "Realistic Reload" option is checked in the options menu before launching a patrol, how long is the time increased? I know it depends on the experience of the crew, but in general terms.... I suppose this is referred to the Torpedoes reload time.

2.- What is the maximum range of operaton of the Avenger, Anson, Hurricane and Swordfish?

Thank you very much for your comments...

You can see in the aircraft configuration

ATB_Avenger.cfg
MaxRadius=650

AFB_HurricaneMk1.cfg
MaxRadius=750

ATBS_Swordfish.cfg
MaxRadius=820

ALB_AN03.cfg
MaxRadius=650

Shouldn't the MaxRadius be half the aircrafts combat range?

Anvar, what mod are u using? Just checked the .cfg file for those planes and...

ClassName=FBHurricaneMk1
MaxRadius=350

ClassName=TBAvenger
MaxRadius=200

ClassName=TBSSwordfish
MaxRadius=300

ClassName=LBAN03
MaxRadius=650

Less than half of what your files say... Why so much difference? Only 1 plane has the same value....

BTW, thank you, didn't know where to look..

Real Ranges. Avenger 1,456km so MaxRadius should be 728 , Hurricane 970km - MaxRadius 485 , Swordfish 840km - MaxRadius 420 , Anson 1,060km - MaxRadius 530

That is assuming MaxRadius figure is in km, then other factors are the inaccuracy of the SH3 Global Distances and weather they are carrying external fuel tanks.

I think quite a few aircraft could do with a tweak.

Combat radius of action (Rc) is the greatest distance that an aircraft can move away to carry out a combat mission with full standard armament and return without an intermediate landing and refueling to the departure airfield. On average, Rc at high altitudes is 0.4 Tactical flight range for single aircraft and 0.3–0.35 for groups, depending on their composition. The Rc value at low altitudes decreases by about 2–2.5 times due to an increase in fuel consumption caused by an increased force of air resistance.
Tactical flight range
Fairy Swordfish=1700,
Hawker Hurricane=1480 km,(Combat range 740 km),
TBF (TBM) Avenger=1626
Avro Anson=1271

Is there a place to look at a summary table on the performance characteristics of aircraft of the Second World War, where these figures are indicated?

Wikipedia I was going by for the max combat ranges for each aircraft. My Late Grandad worked as a mechanic for the the RAF based at RAF Northolt London where the P39's flew from. You can forget altitude when it comes to full speed combat that's where they burn't the fuel.

Pic of me with a pair of Grips my Grandad used to use in his RAF days: https://ibb.co/jbgMKLD

Nice photo.

I wouldn't trust Wikipedia. Get information from trusted sources.
