What happened to Gronk? It souinds like an elephant sat on him? ...and why did Belichick have a Gronk voodoo doll in his back pocket? To no avail, all that rain, powder too wet to fire, doink in end, from misfire. Good game though.

Both New Jersey teams won.

Time to retire Roethlisberger?

When your team loses, it sucks.

When your team loses to a winless team, it REALLY sucks!!!

Well the prognostications that Brady would kick our butts were a bit exaggerated. TBH he showed his age although his receivers weren't helping all that much. It was raining buckets but bad weather never stopped him before.

The world champs are the real deal for sure but we still came within a couple inches of beating them. That "donk" off the left upright was a terrible thing to hear in surround sound BTW. Our D did their job keeping Brady to field goals.

My only question at this point is will Mac Jones survive long enough for us to capitalize on his talent. The kid did great last night and he is showing a ton of potential but our O-line has to step up or one of these hits will eventually do damage even if he thinks now that they were "fun".

Another thing I hope was finally put to bed is the true reasons for Bradys departure. It wasn't a coach/player conflict, it wasn't about money. It was because the Patriots are going through a rebuilding phase and Tom didn't want to spend his last years having to deal with that. Tampa was all set up for him.

LOL, I was listening to the Lions-Vikings game on the net, which was delayed by about 5 to 10 mins. I looked up the score online, so I knew the outcome, before it had happened. Anyhoo, so the I thought the Vikings announcer was going to start crying, when the Lions scored ih the last minute of the game. Man was he mad at the Vikes for totally choking.

But, it's the Lions, everything will work out.

Nobody loves football anymore? lol
The Vikes beat the kid from Ore-gone! San Diego or whichever Kalifornia city they are located in this week goes down.

...and the Patriots are fielding battle hardened regulars again!

...and the Seachickens drown in the frozen fondue bowl. I don't do post game shows, but I bet the CHOP/CHAZ/Seattle one was great!

Atlanta, we are not the Bulldogs. Next!

The Upstates Bowl, Bills beat the Jersey Jets....No rookie QBs were harmed in this game.

Team Brady looses to the Raw Dogs.

I suggested thatthe Vikes should invest in this:

I like what this Detroit rag had to say:

Quote:
The football gods looked down on the Lions and said “beat the Vikings’ and the Lions screamed back “no!”

The Vikings committed dumb penalties, turned the ball over, and just generally ran a terrible offensive game plan all day long. They gave the Lions at least four chances to take control of the game, but the Lions predictably responded with short passes and short runs. The Lions threw underneath on third down multiple times and consistently came up short. This team just can’t get it done. Forget finishing games, this team is struggling to finish a drive. It’s going to be a long season.

Cheezheadz loose. Seachickens loose, and those over-rated, over hyped frauds, the Ore-gone Dux got blasted out of the college play-offs and the top 10!!!!!!!!!!:ha r:

Maybe there is some sort of cosmic justice?

College football has become a beauty contest and it's all about manufactured drama that makes the NCAA money. The Ducks are the token, Westcoast team. (the Cup-cake-12 should be down graded as a quality, power conference) ESPN had a great article, on why Ore-gone was even rated #3. Unfortunately, no one in the sports media world can see beyond Ore-gone's fluff. They almost always choke in November. I'm just tired of these big name programs, that play cushy, non-conference teams, get ranked high, then play a real team and get crushed. The ESPN article pointed out how weak Ore-gone's schedule was this year (Ohio St aside), but that was a first game though.

I was listening on-line (with a 2 minute delay) and was watching the google score tracker. Those last 2 minutes!!!!!All I can see is the score and who has the ball. Vikes score, cheezheadz score, Vikes have ball, cheezheadz have the ball, now the Vikes have the ball again! What on Earth is going on in this game? The joys of real time-vs delayed broadcast!

Kirk Cousins must have used a couple of lives today...2 ints cancelled out by roughing the passer penalties.

Is it possible to have fans so dumb they contribute to their championship drought?

Quote:
Bills Mafia Table-Breaking Initiation Goes Horribly Wrong

The Buffalo Bills fanbase is a complicated coalition. A collection of insane football fans who have forged an identity as a group of people who sacrifice their bodies for the enjoyment of their group by diving onto folding tables. This, for better or worse, is the Bills Mafia. While their shenanigans are mostly cheeky and fun, there's a certain level of danger involved when you're trying to break things with your body. And sometimes things go wrong. Like what happened to this small woman when she tried to get in on the fun before yesterday's Bills - Colts game. Who knew a 26-point loss at home wouldn't be the worst thing that would happen to a Buffalo fan on Sunday.
