Default Required viewing and a reassessment of what you thought you knew.

Von Clausewitz rule # 2 from ON WAR:" Whenever possible , increase fi...AIR power!"...and conquer the known...and the unknown world. http://firearmshistory.blogspot.com/2014/03/the-girandoni-repeating-air-rifle.html paint ball before there was paint ball-spare air tanks! How the West was 'really won' :"However, this type of rifle has a very important place in American history. A version of the Girandoni air rifle was made in Philadelphia by one Isiah Lukens, who was also a watchmaker and gunsmith like Bartholomaus Girandoni. The Lukens version of the rifle had a capacity of 23 bullets, instead of 20 bullets that the original rifle had. One of these rifles was custom-made by Isiah Lukens for Meriweather Lewis, who carried it with him on the famous Lewis and Clark expedition from 1804 to 1806 (for non-American readers, the Lewis and Clark expedition was a famous scientific and exploration expedition that discovered a land route from the city of St. Louis, Missouri to the west coast of the United States.) Meriweather Lewis is recorded to have used this rifle to impress several Native American tribes, who were all amazed by its repeating capability and the fact that it made less noise than a conventional firearm." Essentially: A repeating rifle with the same punch as 1911 colt .45! and able to penetrate a 1 inch plank.
The very instrument of diplomacy carried by Meriwether Lewis! Fired to good effect, as a demonstration, to all tribes encountered...Air power in 1804; clearly the assault rifle of the day BBY! With the added advantage: your powder definitely stays dry on a two-three year trek!

The Hunter
features a .22 air rifle now, to be used for cottontails, pheasants and - ducks, I think.

Effective in-game range 50 m, says the "catalogue". But the aliens probably sooner or later will start start lobbing the bullets even over hills, I assume.

A 3-9x32 scope is available.

Newest Bad Boy in the house! Benjamin Trail NP2

This one has the very first Custom CDT trigger made for the new NP2 AG. I scored a good buy on this Bad Boy!

Got a box of USB to serial converters in today.
They will be used to connect to my F1 Master chrony to my Notebook once I add some junk parts and hook everything up.
I like the FU button.
FU means Function but I take it a different way!

Is your custom CDT trigger a set and hair double trigger? Can't tell from the photo.

Here's the link about the trigger.
http://www.charliedatuna.com/NPSS%20non%20PP.htm

My NP2 is the AG used to test the trigger in the new NP2 from Crosman.
That means I got trigger number 1 and I paid less then the cost of the Gun new and the trigger was thrown in. Along with a few other parts.

This is what I'm useing to connect the Chrony to my Notebook.

I've designed a momentary switch system that I hope to test in a few days to allow computer connection and the FU also in one unit.

First prototype done and tested.

I also ordered a part with a female socket so I can mount it in the chrony. That gets rid of the chance to lose or step on it.
