[REL] [1.5UBM] Typhoon SSBN Career Playable sub


Typhoon SSBN for SH4.

Typhoon SSBN for SH4.

credit goes to Jhapprich, and a dude on sketchup for the model, i converted it to use in the American career,
and to Silverwolf, for the interior and ETR3(SS) for the new campaign option from Bangor, WA.

this adds a new boat starting in 1941 for the USA, the Typhoon SSBN.

this nice sub comes with a complete compliment of SLBMs, torpedoes, and yes, extensible masts.

istallation:
enable with JSGME (Jones Soft Generic Mod Enabler).

use:
tubes 7-14 are the VLS tubes,
1-6 are the torpedo tubes.
NOTE: take caution when within 3,000 meters and using SLBMs!!!
THIS WILL END YOUR CAREER PREMATURELY!
SIDENOTE: DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT CREDIT ME FULLY FOR THIS MOD,

STILL TO DO:
Make some extensible masts able to extend with individual periscopes.
Increase crew complement.

KNOWN ISSUES:
Crew is on deck when submerged.

apologies for double posting, but you wouldnt notice anyway.

The first nuke i fire (yes its the current version with the Typhoon commands activated) always seems to .... nuke... properly.

but the second and after that only seem to destroy one target (out of about 5 in the naval dock system)

or just detonate about 100 meters away from the boat... killing me 2...

This is very good. When I want a break from SH5 uboat I can load up SH4 and take command of the typhoon.

Yeah with me it some times explodes to fast and got me harmed to..

Even my first nuke explodes on me... I'm pretty sure I'm at 6000 yards when i fired it

Takes too long to dive

It takes me 10-15 in game minutes to dive, is there any way to fix this?

is a 120 m and 32000 tons beast, almost the weight of Titanic, not an attack sub, that is her time to submerge
if you want do it faster go to data/submarine/yoursub/, find the .sim file, open him with sil3nt editor and increase ballast tanks flood speed
Not too much because you will have funny efects like a sub swimming like a dolphin or going down like a rock

Default help with periscope in typhoon

i am using the typhoon standalone beta mod for sh4 i try to go to periscope station and can not bring up my periscope view is someone else having this problem i click periscope and f4 i will not go there i have windows 7 and the latest genric mod enabler 2.6.0.157 help

you have other mods instaled?
some mods modifies commands cfg to work in old style, with f3 for periscope station, but pageup/ctrl + pageup for rise periscope is still the same
