Just not that into it.
I am kinda sorry I bought this game. Way to much micromanagement required. Maybe if they could make a version with bots that don't require so much interaction then I may give it another try.

I've watched a guy playing mostly through 1st person.
If that mode will get enough developement, it offers a different kind of micro-management. I try to imagine, playing it that way, with sufficient command short-cuts, and maybe even voice attack software, so that I can shout at my officers & crew. P.s. I dont have the game yet....still on the fence, waiting to get more simulation. The torpedo interface lacks a few controls, like depth and spread. For the rest, I think that full manual control is in the game.
