Default About the depth Gauge

I was trying to recall, but didn't succeed....

Could you guys please tell me if there is a version of this gauge for more than

260 meters? If it exists, it's just a matter of installing a mod with changes in some files or what?

Any help, comments or refs about this will be most welcome.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much Anvar1061!!! But I should have been a little more specific... The mod made by C. America changes the gauges instruments displayed on the wall of the sub interior, but the screenshot of the gauge I posted is from the slide out dials....

It's a shame you've lost your mod, looks very nice in the screenshot!

I just found FLB Sale U-999's 6 Dials Simfeeling Mod, which I think is the origin of this mod, but it has the 260 m depth gauge as well... Can't find a version for more that that.... perhaps there is no such thing....

Find your gauge here:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/nd2don...od_v1.zip/file

Readme:

********************************
* MoD : DEPTH GAUGE MOD V.1 *
* Game: SILENT HUNTER III v1.2 *
* By : Captain America *
* Date: April 13, 2005 *
********************************

This mod was designed to compliment TimeTraveller's "Crush Depth Changer Tool" to allow the player to select deeper depths via the 2D interface and 3D interior.

NOTE: To use this mod properly you need TimeTravller's tool found here:
http://www.delraydepot.com/tt/sh3.htm

WHAT IT CHANGES:
- Replaces the 260m 2D interface deep depth gauge with a 400m one.
- Replaces all 3D interior depth gauges (Command Room, Conning Tower and Radio Room) on all type VII and IX variants with a matching 400m one. The type II variants were left at default since their historical crush depths are less than 260m. Also, the XXI variants were not changed since they already include a 400m depth gauge in all 3D interiors.

INSTALLATION:

A complete backup of the originals are included (refer to Uninstall section).

- Move the 3 folders (Interior, Textures, and Menu) into the game's DATA folder and overwrite when prompted. The default location to the DATA folder should be:
[your hard drive]:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\DATA

-Done.

UNINSTALL:

- Move the folders (Interior and Menu) located in the folder named Original_Backup included with this mod into:
[your hard drive]:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\DATA

- Delete the following textures located in:
[your hard drive]:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\DATA\TEXTURES\TNORMA L\TEX
- detalli_7.tga
- cadrane_radio_7.tga
- 7cIc_tif.tga

- Done.

*You are not permitted to combine this mod with other mods for circulation without my consent. I have spent a lot of time on this and would appreciate if you respect that.

Enjoy

Fubar295, thank you very much!
Anvar1061 also gave the name and link to that mod that I already downloaded, but this mod changes the gauges in the command room of the sub and it will be useful for my purpose of changing the gauges to 400 meters, fact that I didn't consider. But what I was originally looking for is the gauge for 400 meters of the sliding gauges that are present in the ARB Gui 1920x1080 mod. Here is what I am talking about...

As I said, I didn't consider the fact that if I change the sliding gauge, I must change the gauges in the command room as well....

The file name of the sliding gauge is Anzeige260.tga and it is located in the following path: data/Menu/Gui/Layout, it's the same file used in the Sale's 6 Simfeeling & Update
and ARB Wide Gui 1920x1080 mods as you can see in the screenshots. That is what I was looking for, and I suppose that if it exists I will have to do modifications in the Dials.cfg file

Yes. This will change the pitch of the dive indicator.

But that is assuming that I find the correct file and mod to change the sliding dial, right? that is the TGA file for 400 meters....
