Default Windows 10 and graphics drivers [SOLVED]

I will leave the original post below the solution.

Solution: I followed step 1 in this tutorial
https://thegeekpage.com/fix-error-nv...rted-problems/

Seems it's been too long since I installed new drivers for new hardware and I really could use some help:

Got my new pc, finished the Win10 installation but there is one thing not right

This pc has a Geforce RTX 2060 card but Win 10 will not accept the drivers (downloaded via Nvidia but Win claims these files are either damaged or harmful. I did several re-downloads but they are still rejected as damaged or harmful) and insists on using its own generic drivers which isn't really optimal for the 2060.

Any idea what I can do to get this thing going the right way?

Most likely it is Windows Defender doing that. When I get that it is a popup box telling me that. In the box there is usually a link I can click saying something like "for more information". Click it and the option to go ahead and install should appear. It is usually safe to do so, just Windows way of saying do you really want to do this.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, it seems to be more complex than that. In Device Manager, the card is listed but with a warning sign and a text tellin me the drivers don't work (Code 52). I tried a restart with no forced signature check and this time the installer told me the version of Windows is incompatible which I highly doubt. A look on the web told me it's a known problem but so far none of the possible solutions seem to work.

EDIT: Windows is a 3 y.o. brat. On my 2nd attempt with no signature check, the drivers DID install but the card is still not working only this time I get a Code 43...

EDIT SOLVED. See first post
