The ("# Viewing)" for forums
What is the # Viewing displayed by all the forums on the top level Radioroom page?
My thought was the number of concurrent users but that number for Silent Hunter III seems way too high. Perhaps number of visitors in the last 24 hours? Just curious... |

DDBait,
Keep in mind that companies like Google use what are called "web crawlers" or "spiders". These are programs which search the web for keywords and content so that searches will return more [hopefully] relevant results. The forum software [AFAIK] cannot tell the difference between a spider and a real person, so if there are 3 people and 15 spiders on a thread - the forum will show that 18 people are viewing it.
