Another returnee
Like some others am back after a long absence. Most stuff and mods work well, but cannot get SH3Commander to work. It somehow can't find SHE.exe although it is right there in the SH3folder. Huh!
And do I not remember a command to 'Return to Track' after deviating temporarily to inspect a contact? Probably some other questions too..oh, what's the latest new interior? I now have a faster computer and could load more complex graphics. Archive1 |

Go to the commander settings and specify the correct path to the SH3 installation folder.

The navigator has a "return to course" command.

Anvar:
Well, when I plug into the Commander the correct path to SH3, where the sh3.exe is, it still does not 'find' it. Even tho' as I said, it is certainly there. Pancoast: Hmmm. How do I access that command? Or is there a shortcut single digit entry? Archive1 |

Just click on the navigator icon and its listed in the dialog that comes up. If its not, you've installed some gui mod that has changed it.

Anvar:
But you see that opening Commander screen that I was used to seeing (and you display) does not appear. Clicking the Commander icon merely opens a "search" screen that supposedly lets you show Commander where the SH3.exe executable is...but it is right there in the SH3 folder along with the Commander file. Dunno. Pancoast: You're right, now I remember how to get there. My apologies for the bother. Age is taking its toll, alas. Archive1 One further question: what is the latest 'upgrade' or whatever for SH3? I think I have the latest (now old I know) version of...what is it called...the Wolf something, but maybe they have come up with something different from the Gold version. Thanks, -=Archive1=- |

Pancoast:
I've also uncovered an old folder filled with mods, lots of Racerboy stuff. Am going to review those. But what I do not have are the interiors created to expand the interior views into the engine room, and I think, the torpedo room. Are those on file somewhere in SubSim? Still await Anvar or someone's link or brilliant answer to my problems loading Commander - I do miss that opening and shortcuts to some modifications. Thanks, Archive1 |

There are various interior mods around depending on exactly what you want. Flakmonkey and DivingDuck started things (I think) and you can find their work here. There is also the TKSS U-boat compilation which can be found in Ahnenerbe's folder at the same link. There are threads about all these on the forum via a search. Hope this helps.
