In the 'Documentation' folder is a file labeled 'GWX_1.3_Locations'. It goes in the Data/Terrain folder, but first you need to rename it Locations.cfg. It will then overwrite the one that's there. He probably should have put it in folders like he did with the other two versions.

Ah,thats what I didn't do,rename it 'Locations.cfg'

....hence me asking for help with a translated readme,as you say its a shame he didn't put it in folders like he did with the other 2 versions

since I didn't rename the folder and just put it into data/terrain will it create any problems with my install?,and if I do it properly the second time will that cause problems with the first aborted effort?

I do really wish that people would remember that not all of us are as blessed as them when it comes to computer savvy

No it wont create problems as is

When it has the wrong name it just doesn't know it's there, which is why the locks didn't show up for you. As BBW said, you can just rename the one that's in there, no problem.

Is thise mod working white stock SH3 or not. Harbor is loking wery good bay the way.

Stock SH3 doesn't have the Kiel Canal at all. It was added as a mod a couple of years ago. So no, it won't work. You'll have the locks but no canal to go through.
