Default Dangerous Waters vs Sub Command

When it comes to subs only, which of thewe is the more realistic sub simulator? The interface looks pretty much the same. Is there an advantage of one over the other? Is there a difference in graphics or gameplay?

Both games had the same level of realism when were released.
DW is like SC II
It's like to ask which Battlefield is more realistic: BF 3 or BF 4?

It doesn't matter

Of course SC is older and haven't some improvements. But gameplay is exactly the same.

One difference if you are looking for realism, Dangerous Waters is more active in the field of Mods (LWAMI, Reinforced Alert, etc) to the game that add more platforms, more nuanced sonar, and a lot more. Not sure if SC has any active mods going right now.
