Firing a Phoenix Missile at a target that was 35 miles away. (You can see the puff of smoke on the left of the display when it impacted) the Bomber went down shortly after.

Heatblur really went the extra mile on this module, it even has a walkman and to get to the next track you need to Fast Forward like the real thing

Dropped some Mk81's need to work on my accuracy though, close but not close enough to knock out some vehicles.

En route towards 2 F18's, tried using my AIM54s Phoenix missiles shooting them in sequence to 2 different targets designated by my RIO (Jester AI) fired 2 missiles aprox. 40-50 miles out 1 splashed the F18 the other F18 managed to avoid being hit as he dove to the deck, pilot locked him shortly after and nailed him with a 3rd Phoenix missile.

Sight of home base:

Touch down.

Heatblur has quite the track record with the excellent Viggen and now the F14. I'm thinking about getting either the 14 or 18 when they drop in price. But I need to get a proper Joystick first as my current one always adds some right rudder when I only want to use right aileron... Oh well, I think the thing is over 10 years old now...

I'd always apply a bit of deadzone on the rudder control.

Anyway I recently replaced my Cyborg Evo stick with the Thrustmaster T16000M + HOTAS and I'd recommended if you look something within a decent pricerange and what you get for it. It's got the same sensors like their top of the line Warthog stick and with the HOTAS unit you got plenty of buttons to asign to the thing's you'd be needing in DCS modules.

Ralfi did a very good review about it:

Packing all the Zuni's to try some ground pounding:

F16's denied my fun:

Then it was my turn to terminate their fun.

Yep, I was thinking about that one too. But being the super tight German that I am I still go with the "oh, come on, your old stick does still function now (somewhat) , doesn't it?" routine.
