Default Countering Mines

Is there any way, with any platform, to destroy mines in DW, or do they simply need to be avoided?

For detection mines use HF sonars.

If you use RA mod, probably Korund or MOSS can activate mines (explosion or launching torpedo)

Thanks for the reply! Not having any trouble detecting them with FFG or subs, just can’t figure out how to get rid of them once I know where they are.

I don’t use RA or any mods right now. Is there any way of destroying them without mods?

I had some luck yesterday using a mk50. Located the mine using active sonar but classified it as an enemy sub so that it could be targeted in the FFG torpedo station. After launching I got a confirmation that a mine had exploded nearby.

Not a very efficient solution, though...
