If your wingman is AI and your opponents are AI too, then the wingman won't help you one bit. He will only try to stay in formation but won't engage any enemy. The attacking AI will only concentrate on the leader and simply fly past the wingman without being bothered by him.

I was talking about our sorties with hopefully human wingmen. I agree that the AI sucks as wingman.

Yeah, what the hell was number 2 up to in our second sortee last night? All I could hear was him screaming for help and crying for his mutter. Did he even make it back?

He had two P.11s on his 6 when I left the scene. I gave both several good burst with the MGs without any visible effect(except for flying pieces), ran ouf of ammo and got the hell out of there. Didn't bother to ram to save the AI. Those buggers sure can take some punishment.

How do you manage to run out of Ammo in the Emil anyway?, It has machine gun bullets like the ocean has water

the machine gun fire is more effective to light the P11's engine on fire then the Cannons are to shoot off Wings or other parts of that Aircraft.

when you're going to shoot the P11 try to hit his engine with only firing the MG's
works like a charm.

True the Emil has mg ammo like water in an ocean(something like 50 secs of continous fire?!), but if you use it like that it'll eventually run out.

I did notice that it does almost nothing to a P.11 from dead six. My longest burst was when approaching one from behind, opening fire at 200 meters and firing until forced to break off(about 4 secs of continous fire). Pieces were flying like crazy but he just kept going and chasing the 109 ahead. That's pretty well considering the plane has no armor whatsoever.

No Flight tonight, after getting some wrong wind from my boss while I work my arse off for that tw*t, I needed a break...so I'm out tonight.

I think we shall continue on full throttle back on monday, so enjoy the weekend my fellow Luftwaffels :rotfl:

That number 7, first pic, looks like it might be me. I'm using a BOB skin I got a while back, but I'll probably make my own at some point which I'll update with kills, and bits of masking tape where they've put the wings back on

Number 6 (Second pic) might be me, if this is from the 4th sortie

Fin stole my precious number 5, arrgh

So...no flying until Monday?, That gives me enough time to plan Schultz's final demise!
