Mystery Subsim #45

Here is the initial shot of Mystery Subsim #45

Ha! I've been too easy on you guys, take that!

Be the first to guess correctly the name of this subsim or naval game and have your name added to the prize pool.

If you guess, and you are wrong, then you have used one of your three wrong guesses alloted to each player. Each player gets only three wrong guesses in the whole contest before your participation ends, so guess wisely (if you are really sure). If you don't know, don't waste a guess! You can only guess incorrectly three times in the contest.

You cannot EDIT your post in this contest. An edited or deleted post counts as a guess.

Remember the rules!!

If no one tries to guess this shot, or no one guesses correctly, there will be an expanded shot to follow.

Good hunting!

Wha..? Oh, nevermind...

Congrats, it is Submarine Commander, from 1982 (wow!). This game was never released under any name by Atari. It was a Sears exclusive.

About the game:

Quote:
You're the commander of a submarine in enemy waters. Use your skills, radar, and luck to take down the enemy ships. With 8 difficulty settings there is a lot of the game to master as you must start to keep an eye on your fuel, torpedoes, radar, and enemy while avoiding depth charges as the difficulty rises. You can fire up to two torpedoes at a time. While enemy shows go by your periscope sink as many as you can. The periscope can turn 360 degrees and look off into the horizon or close to your sub. Some ships move slower than others, and one of the ships moves so fast that the only way to hit it is by tracking it by radar instead of visually.

My my, we sure have come a long way!

Mystery Subsim #46 is coming off the ways as we speak...

If you meant the Submarine Commander shot, that looks like a flattop.

If you meant the SH4 shot, I think Neal called it a zero-angle shot on a Yamato. Scary-looking lady, isn't she?

No, says the man in Washington. It belongs to the poor.
No, says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to God.
No, says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone.

I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something
different. I chose the impossible. I chose...
Rapture.
