Default Campaign (SCR / RND / LND) conversion and modifying

Has anyone made a new Random Compaign file with non-stock nations (Spain, Portugal, Finland, Argentina, Ireland, Mexico, etc.)? I especially would like one with mainly generic entries rather than specifically named ship classes. I guess I could work on one on my own, but then I would know approximately where ships would spawn and some of the fun of having to hunt for them would be gone.

I don't expect someone to make a fresh one for me obviously, but is there already one in existence I can download? Thanks.

According to Readme, the U-boat War Ace (Wolfpack) mod-campaign includes additional traffic for France, Finland, USSR, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Romania, Mexico, Argentina, Columbia, South Africa. I am not sure whether it is random or scripted. It is better to ask the author.

Thank you.

But where would I find it, or the author? I didn't see it in the mod list.

Never mind, there it is on the top of your page. Can't understand how I could have missed it.

Now, where can I find the modder who made it?

Make a forum search for his nickname Travinski and PM him.

You can also make a text search for different country names in Random and Scripted campaign files and find out how their ships get to enter the game.

Default Creating campaign

Is it possible to create your own campaign? Using the same screens as in career mode being able to choose crew, boat, loadout ect?

I meant with making a campaing, that I build new scenarios in the mission editor, give new patrol areas, give radio messages to send the player to the scenarios area and calculate date, that the player has enough time to arrive at the screen.

But would be possible to create a mission (or event) to include in the career scenario?

For example building a naval battle event and link it to the career scenario which at day X hour Y trigger the event and if the player is in the area he will see the event unfolding?

Is the mission editior the right tool for that or exist some other tool to create such events?

Please could someone give some tips about this?

Thanks in advance

Default Changing Campaign Entirely to Generic

I was attempting to randomize the entries for type 102 and type 101 merchant vessels in the random level of my campaign file, but it didn't work. I get a CTD every time I tried to use the edited file.

Here is what I did - I searched for all entries for the following ships classes - KLS, KSQ, KSS, C3Cargo, and all three tanker classes. I replaced these entries with the same entry with a semi-colon in front. For example, I replaced all KLS entries with ;KLS.

Does anyone know what I did wrong? If you can help, I'd appreciate it.

I wish someone would make a completely stand-alone campaign file for 1.4b vanilla. All I really need are some new ports, generic (non-specific) merchant traffic, and more traffic from non-stock nations.
