Manual diveplanes not available in SH5 TWoS?

Hi there,

I am playing SH5 TWoS and I cant choose to control the manual diveplanes. The auto diveplanes keep being selected (yellow). I can click on the manuals but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

You can control diveplanes. Chose the Engineer icon, first to the left, and the undermenu to change diveplanes from Auto to Manual.

Take a look in the sticky posts, there is a video about.

Well, that is what I am talking about. I can choose the manual diveplane icons but they dont work. The diveplanes stay on auto

Have you loaded any external mods? TWoS doesn't like that.
Diveplane controls are activated in the TDW Generic Patcher. If you have changed it then restore your snapshot.

The only time I need to switch to manual diveplanes is: to keep me stable below 150 m, or in desperate situation when I need to balance the boat at a specific speed whith high damages and flooding, and it doesn't always work. But it should always work if your sub is not damaged.

No, I have only SH5 and TWoS. I even started all over to see whether it was a glitch, sometimes picked up after a lot of saves but this wasn't the case. Puzzles me too.
BTW: How do I use the TDW to check or change anything?

EDIT: just checked and ran the procedure. hadnt done that. This evening I will check the result. Thx in the meantime

Without enabling the Generic Patcher, you will have a LOT of issues, so be sure to do this !! It's in the WoS instructions.
