Default Buyers remorse (Not the mod for me!)

I finally got the mods that I tried to play together and was really seeing what I thought I was seeing but have decided that the mods I selected were not what I really wanted to play.
Operation Munson and OMEGU are something I might try later, but not on my second go around. Their difficulty makes it too much like work.

I do need some help though, getting this game to play the way that I want.
I think I now know enough to do bit of (very minor) modding myself if pointed in the right direction...

I've installed Dark RecognitionManual
That solves my night blindness problem

I've located and installed the pretty environmental bits from OM and the key command remappings that I wanted. That's working too.

My main remaining problem is the amount of screen real estate taken up by the gauges and the tabs that appear in the lower left. No matter how much I shrink the crew messages box I cannot fit it in between the tabs and the gauges, like I can with the full OM loaded.

Is there a tweak that I can make to some file that will basically make them take up less screen real estate? The full OM does it. What am I missing?

Default Never mind...

Dummy that I am, I'd forgotten to reset my screen resolution back to what it was supposed to be. Switching back to 1920 gave me all the room I could ever want.

Default

Sounds about average. If I only had a dollar for every time I've done something like that...

Glad it's working for you now.
