Very interesting

But does it work only in higher zoom levels? (The file is quiet small)

I would like to see a colour scheme that resembles more a real chart, with white instead of blue water. Any chance of doing that? (White to grey for different depths) Also please with FLAT earth, i.e. just one colour in light brown.

The maps are game size! The pic was made smaller just for upload sake!

file contains 2 maps and an updated terrain.act

I can try making a greyscale version! Give me a few days! It might just be possible!

ok
Rick.

Please do! It would be great to have a realistic colour map, like Hitman said.

Hey,

thank you. Great idea. Did you change the color of the water also or only of the land? I ask, because in some GUI mods from OLC there is a little depth thingy which can be used to estimate water depth. This cannot be used if water color is changed.

The water is the same on that version I uploaded!

I am currently working on a gery version and will look into that before release!

thanks
Rick

I think that changing that thingy to grey scale should suffice to have it match the new grey colour chart.

The Sea is made up of 48 colors or shades of colour and each colour controls the depth!

this is a really very nice mod Rick !

thank you !

H.sie : don't worry about the colored depth tool...it is a piece of cake to recreate a new one with the new colors.

looking forward for new versions of this mod...my request is the land to be something closer to brown (if possible...of course)

Hitman (or someone else) - do you know a precise colour for the flat earth? I'm looking at different Marinequadratkarte's, but they're poor scans so it's difficult to take a precise colour from them.

Experimenting with it, but the water looks quite odd. It is olc gui, so the colors in screenshot are slightly distorted.

Second thing - I think that the colors of water in kriegsmarine maps were inverted - the deep water was white, and shallow dark (?)
