Can't remember when. In a space related science program they talked about the next manned mission to the Moon in 2024.

I was thinking...oh manner can I be so lucky to witness the same exitment as my parents did when they followed Apollo 11 from earth to the Moon and back.

Well now we have Corona and most likely it will be postponed a few years.

Today I came to think on the American election..
What if Biden wins the election and cancel it

It's probably not only the expense but also losing two absolutely irreplaceable crews due to negligence and mismanagement. I'm speaking of the loss of Columbia and Challenger. I think we forgot how much going to space is a concerted effort by the various engineers and physicists. When talented people like this are marginalized or their warnings go unheeded, you have accidents with terrible results.

Oh man now I have the possibility to feel the same as my parent did when Armstrong to his first step on the moon. Only different between this first step and Armstrong is the quality of the transmission from the landing-thing(pad I think it's called)

Just a very quick thought on any planet 9:

With Newtonion physics in the toolbox, astronomers searched for Vulcan, a theoretical planet that would explain Mercury's orbit since Newton and Kepler couldn't. Enter Einstein and Mercury's orbit could be explained by relativity. Physicists know that Einstein could not have been right 100% and it is entirely possible thst we are looking for Vulcan Mk2. It is of course also entirely possible that there is a Vulcan Mk2 out there. My crystal ball is out of batteries so I can't tell what the findings will be.
