Default How good is this?

This looks terrific but I would love to hear some input before deciding. Also are the dlc standalones? It reads like it is but it's not clear. I had read some stuff on steam about the bundles and that's where I got that impression.

Default Yes!

I can easily recommend Command.

It's a complex one, and one that you won't be able to pick up without some time dedicated to practice and learning the ropes, but it is probably the most expansive and realistic depiction of military combat and procedures in a sim.

The DLC for the game, are new campaigns (Basically missions), in a new theatre of war or time period. They're usually a solid bet if you're interested in those areas.

On the other hand, there are a few standalone expansions, which are cheaper than the main game, and allow you to just play the included campaign. For owners of the base game, they just act as more DLC.

Thank you! Another question...if you are getting a stand alone other than the main game, is the price the same whether you dl it as dlc or a stand alone? (If my question makes any sense)

I believe so. But you will lose a lot of the flavor of the game because you do not have the main game.

CMANO is an extreme Tactical war game. It requires a lot of micromanaging. You can pause it, but to me that is cheating. You need to understand the units, the vehicles, the weapons, the pros and cons to all, to understand how to deploy them effectively.

Basically the game places you as a 5 star general, Westpoint graduate, with an office at the pentagon, with the president's personal phone number in your mobile phone, in direct command of your armed forces!

I'd recommend it highly. Of course, I'm retired Navy, so I might be a bit biased in favor of titles like this.

I played the old version a lot, and just today finally updated to the new version and added the DLC that I didn't already have. So I have everything, once again.

This is a title that will always remain installed on my computer, along with my other favorite naval and submarine titles. Go for it!
