Default Mods conflict...?

I would like to use the NVDrifter Longer Wakes for GWX V1.0 mod, but I see that it uses the .VAL files of every ship in the Sea folder, same ones that use Rubini - Lifeboats & Debirs V4.

Now, the question is: are these 2 mods incompatible beacuase of this or is it possible to use both mods without one breaking the other? if they are incompatible, is the a way to make them compatible or is there another mod similar to NVDrifetr's one that can be used in conjunction with Rubini's? The truth is that I found NVDrifter's mod in a very old disk and maybe it's outdated and other versions were made in the following years after this one.

Any comments will be most welcome. Thanks a lot guys!!

To see if they are compatible, only way is to open both .VAL files using S3D and compare...
Never used any of them so can’t tell. But I suspect Rubini use .VAL to make life boats appearing for each ships while the NVDrifter use .VAL for each ships to behave the new waves…
It’s only hypothesis from me so take it with care
Anyway you’ll have to add the Right values from one to the other To make it fully compatible

There is a big problem for me, since I was never able to istall S3D... for a reason unknown I get an error msg everytime I try... downloaded both progs required by S3D to run and still get the same error msg, so I gave up using S3D...

That’s a major problem if you want to mod ... S3D is THE application for modding!
I too can’t run it on my new rig...have to switch each time on my old one to use S3D...a real pain.
I know some stuff are missing on my new rig to run S3D, but as i don’t want it to connect internet, it’s like that!

Then it is something with Win 10 that causes those problems... wish I could find out how to solve the problem...

Yes it’s running fine on Win10 of my old rig, but can’t remember what files my new rig is missing to make it run...have to check again closer when some free time.
