Pop-up blockers will block the download pop-up, and sometimes, you might also see an advertisement pop-up along with the Save dialog, and a blocker will take them both out...

Turned off Ad Blocker. Didn't help.

I can enter:

http://www.dcoffey.co.uk/images/

and get a screen with a list of folders, allowing:

silenthunter4/silhouettes/

and get a screen with a list of folders, including:

SilhouettesMerchant01.7z

Clicking on this does nothing.

Hope this stuff will end up in mod. If not, will have to ask someone to email it to me.

Don't really understand why it seems you are having all that difficulty in being able to download the zipped file.

With downloading you're NOT having any of the same issues I take it, with mods from here or any other sources for downloads.??

First time ever had trouble with download. Dopey me. I was expecting a pop out window prompting the download. Not here. It just downloaded it without telling me. Found it by accident, just now, when I went to my download folder looking for a download I just made for Skyrim. What did I find? SilhouettesMerchant01(1).7z through SilhouettesMerchant01(34).7z. Looks like it worked ever time, but did not notify me of anything.

Thanks.

Sounds like that you need to go in & set downloads up to ask where you want to download to, so that way.. you don't end up with that happening again.

Easiest way to do so is through the settings menu for the browser your using.

That is what I'd strongly suggest here for you, as it is what I have set up with each & every browser I've used.. and I've used about all the major 1's that is known of. IE, Chrome, Firefox/Waterfox, just to name a few of them.

As it stands right now, I only have 2 on My computer... the dumpster fire known of as Edge (only still there, just to avoid any possibilities of Micro-shaft, aka Microsoft... pushing it back on in their updates present or near future... ) & Opera (supplied with ad blocking & a VPN option which I rather enjoy and have pretty much made this My primary browser... ). I'd strongly recommend Opera. Short of using TOR browser.

Hope this info helps on avoiding issues like this again, bud.

I have Vivaldi, which is built on the Chrome engine, and strange things have been happening in it lately. I think it's all Microsoft's fault... lol

@Michael Wood - I'm glad you finally got the download working despite the browser oddities happening.

I will be preparing the next bundle of Merchants for release in a day or so as I have just a few left to do in my arbitrary selection of the vessels. There are one or two non-Merchants in the list but there doesn't seem much point in deliberately holding them back.

I will also try to write the Method section that I reserved that post for but I am having a hard time not waffling too much. I will get to it once i need a break from working on the vessels. I have just spent an hour glueing lifeboats down the side of the NLUS_Bremen Liner!

Came across the first Alternate Aiming Mark so far - the small JP GunBoat02. It has an odd mast so merited the different aiming point. It had one in the original silhouette too. Because of that I had to calculate the correct height at the aiming point (overall height 28.0, draft 1.1, tip of mast 26.9, height at aiming point 22.5).

Merchants Pack 02 updated to version 1.1 due to mistake in naming files. I forgot the _sil on several textures and made a spelling mistake in NAS_Canopus.

Only 1 spelling mistake DC, its the NSampan031_sil in the SilhouettesSmallVessels03 folder, it should be NSampan03_sil, otherwise a job well done.

Well spotted, thanks. I have corrected it and reuploaded the file.

Got a surprise when I started the Liners. I thought they'd be unarmed. Nope. The Conte Verde has seven 4.7" guns!

EDIT : Or at least it does in its .EQP file. They don't seem to be placed on the decks, thankfully!

Just finished my 3rd patrol and I've also made a little mod called "Merchant Silhouettes by DanielCoffey". So Mister Coffey, your mod is up and running and I'm waiting for any others that you might do in the near future.
