Must be why seurity has been so heightened at the Yucca Lake Facility just northwest of Vegas for the past year or so.
Not only is there a restricted area there - R4808N - which encompasses the groom lake facility known as area 51 and restricts flight at all altitudes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year... but they've seen fit to publish a 20 mile wide Temporary Flight Restriction - inside the already restricted area - centered on 36°53'52.63"N 116° 2'42.69"W who wants to guess what they do there? first time i've seen that facility's airspace "hot" in 25 years of flying

Just pop those co-ordinates into Google Earth.
 Its south of Yucca Flats near what's labeled as "Device Assembly Area". It doesn't sound very threatening to me.
