Silent Hunter 3 grey wolves expansion crashes

I'm able to play Silent Hunter 3 with no mods installed just fine on my pc but when i have the grey wolves expansion mod installed the game crashes when loading the game world after starting a new career and starting a new patrol.

Make sure to install the 4GB patch to allow more RAM memory...

Hi eriste Welcome to Subsim when you installed GWX did you also install the 4Gig Patch and if you are using the Commander Mod did you install the Commander Mod Config

I've also tried activating a mod called Thomsen's Sound Pack V3.2cg but JSGME freezes when ever i try to activate it.

as well as 4 gig patch,if using windows 10 set compatability to win 7 and run as admin.
thomsens sound pack takes a while to install,be patient

It's not frozen. It just takes a really long time because it is backing up and writing pretty much every audio file used in SH3.

Also how do you get the TDC dials in the attack periscope view, is it a mod and if so what mod is it?

Thank you Very much, I tried installing the ARB WideGui 1920x1080 V3 mod but it caused my game to crash before even getting to the game's menu screen.

For some reason when i try enabling the GUI mod i get a warning saying "commands_en.cfg has already been altered by the Thomsen's Sound Pack V3.2cg mod. en_menu.txt has already been altered by the Thomsen's Sound Pack V3.2cg mod. Enabling this mod may have adverse effects on your game, are you sure you wish to enable this mod?"

Hi eriste I also get warnings like that when enabling other Mods and theres no problems i would try it.
then if theres issues with the sound pack and the Olc Mod try activating them the other way round if you still have issues ie not just a popup warning but messing your game up you will have compromise which mod you must have and which Mod you can live without
its trial and error mod A ok with mods B C D but wont work with Mods E F G.

It looks like the GUI mod you suggested gets rid of the notepad that has you measure a ship's distance from your u-boat, the speed of the ship and at what angle the ship is in relation with your u-boat.

It's very easy to fix this. Just follow these steps:

1) Disable my mod, go to my mod's folder and delete both folders "MENU" and "CFG"
2) Enable my mod back on.
3) Go to sh3/data/menu and open en_menu.txt and change the line #1052 to:

4) Open the sh3/data/cfg/commands_en.cfg and edit it with the notepad, in line #341:
