Default Flight Simulator X Magnetic Variation glitch

I've found that, while in FSX's 3D world, the magnetic variation is set as it was on 2006 (you know that the earth's magnetic poles move over time), exactly as it should. But the problem is that the maps and the flight planner still use the 2004 values. That causes huge problems when flying IFR or making an ILS approach.
