Default I'm Baaack...

I have enjoyed playing subsims for many years and would probably be embarrassed by the number of hours I spent with the old Wolfpack. My patient wife recognizes that game's simple theme song when I hum it from time to time. Recently found the game and got it limping along on a Win 7 machine. Was amazed how crude the graphics were but, man, I loved playing it years ago.

I wander away from subs and play 1st person shooters, flight sims, space sims, etc. Something always draws me back into the subs. This time it was an audio book version of, "Run Silent. Run Deep." Now I'm trying to get a Steam version of SH5, modded with Wolves of Steel, to run. Of course there is a very helpful forum but it's a little overwhelming to play catch up.

I love to dip into my fps and flight sims, also some rp games like Oblivion, but likewise the subs have me hooked for good
