Default What's wrong with this torpedo?

I was on a FFG this afternoon, suddenly I got the message "Captain , TIW!"
OK, standard procedure, stream NIXIE. running away at flank speed.
Then, the lookout reported in "new surface contact!" Also there was an EW contact report.

I looked through binoculars. hmmm, weird. Is that a mermaid?

I turned the truth on, found out that's a USET-80 torpedo. It tried to jump out of water

then for the next 10 min, it stayed there at speed between 1-6 Kt, pop up and down.

Well, what's going on?

Nuke

Haha, beats me. They go full-on dolphin mode sometimes. Very odd that it's an EW contact. The game definitely has bugs that occur not infrequently. Sorry I couldn't be of actual help with regards to when this happens or why

Could that be the torp attack Nixie decoy?

Or maybe weapon malfunction? Yesterday I saw one of my Yu-6 took a 90 degree dive and hit the seabed.
