I think our prospects of home field advantage throughout the playoffs are already pretty unlikely even with a win to be totally honest.

Once again, a great weekend!

Joe Burreaux (pardon me, Burrow) wins LSU's second Heisman Saturday night in record setting fashion.

And speaking of records, last night the Saints' Drew Brees not only broke the record for career TD passes, but also set the record for completion percentage in a game at 96.7% by having only 1 incompletion!

So far it's been a good year for football in Louisiana. Even Tulane is going to a bowl game, and 2 or 3 teams made it into the FCS playoffs.

Another weekend, another Saints victory, and another NFL record for a Saints player. WR Michael Thomas now has the most receptions in a season, and still has a game left to play.

I don't think the Vikings can win anything meaningful. I'd cheer for the seahawks, if they were AFC, but......

I like the AFC better too something left in me from the old AFL days

New Orleans Saints made it back to the playoffs and the LA Rams didn't this might be Breese last chance to lead the team on to victory.

Last Sunday line up for the NFL teams before the playoffs

Are you ready for this the Oakland Raiders still have a mathematical chance for the play offs

Updated 2019 NFC playoff picture is detailed below:

#1 49ers (12-3) - Clinched Playoff Spot
#2 Packers (12-3) - Clinched NFC North
#3 Saints (12-3) - Clinched NFC South
#4 Eagles (8-7)
#5 Seahawks (11-4) - Clinched Playoff Spot
#6 Vikings (10-5) - Clinched Playoff Spot

In The Hunt:
Cowboys (7-8)

Updated 2019 AFC Playoff Picture:
#1 Baltimore Ravens: 13-2
#2 New England Patriots: 12-3
#3 Kansas City Chiefs: 11-4
#4 Houston Texans: 10-5
#5 Buffalo Bills: 10-5-
#6 Tennessee Titans: 8-7
--Teams in the Hunt--
Pittsburgh Steelers: 8-7
Oakland Raiders: 7-8

January 2020 is it folks ... it will be all over with the Super Bowl on February 2nd, but who will be there?

Today's game for the AFC Wildcard playoffs

Buffalo at Houston Texans around 3:30pn est

Tonight's big AFC playoff game may be Tom Brady's last home game in New England

The Houston Oilers was my team for many years till they moved to Tennessee ... so I'm going with the Tennessee Titans on this one

Tennessee at New England Patriots 8:00 pm est

NFL wild-card weekend: Is Tom Brady playing in his final game with Patriots?

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...tt/2812362001/

Quote:
Tom Brady. The backdrop for the rare AFC Wild-Card game in Foxborough, Massachusetts, includes the buzz about the Patriots’ iconic quarterback possibly playing his final game at Gillette Stadium. Brady, without a contract for next season, has typically downplayed the story line. Still, this isn’t business-as-usual, even though Brady has taken New England to four of the past five Super Bowls and has 30 postseason wins under his belt, while the other 11 quarterbacks in the field have combined for 26 playoff wins. It’s the sagging, 15th-ranked Patriots offense.

Brady, whose 24 TD passes are the lowest in a full season since 2006, hasn’t had the typical support around him. And therein lies the pressure on the 42-year-old Brady, so capable over the years of bailing New England out of trouble and covering up for weaknesses. This time, the offensive line protection is suspect, there’s no reliable power-rushing game and they are thin on wide receiver prowess. Plus, there’s no Gronk.

Buffalo was never meant to win

Buffalo 16 Texans 19

Wait it was forth and one and Texans didn't make it

Buffalo still has a chance no time outs with 1:16 left

New England and Tennessee next in thirty (30) minutes

I saw it coming just luke warm and angry on the side lines ...

New England gave us some great games though who can ever forget the come back win against the Atlanta Falcons in that Super Bowl a couple of years ago?

NFL Rumors: ‘Rumblings’ Bill Belichick Is Considering Leaving Patriots?

https://nesn.com/2020/01/nfl-rumors-...ving-patriots/

Next Wild Card games have the Minnesota Vikings at the New Orleans Saints 1pm est

The Vikings lost a close playoff game to the Saints a few years ago, right?

Seattle at Philadelphia in the late afternoon game

If Seattle doesn't win they may be looking for a new coach too
