Default The cost of a crew-A business idea.

Some weeks ago I saw some video clips on yt about these Superyachts.

I find some info about these ships on their homepage or other pages.

Info like.
Passangers 20
Crew 22.

Was thinking-I win the jackpot in Euromillions and buy one of these superyacht and use it as a minicruise ship From mid spring to early autumn.

So first I need a crew.
A captain is needed
What more do I need to safely sail from a to b and how much cost a Captain per hour/day/week/month ??

That's why I ask
The cost of a crew.

Nothing but a fun speculation.

Markus

Sometimes my brain are disconnected - Out of order, so to say.

Why didn't I search for it and Voila
"how much does a captain cost for a yacht" =
Captains cost roughly $1,000 per year per foot of boat

Change the search pattern
how much does a crew cost for a yacht

Here I found a page where you can calculate cost.
https://www.luxyachts.com/yacht-cost-calculator

And this

https://www.crewfinders.com/yachtcrewsalaries.shtml

It cost a lot to have a fully functional crew.

Not necessarily. Some people will crew a boat for free. Some "captains"/owners will even ask that the crew contribute to the costs of food, fuel, etc. Some people will agree to this just for the experience or some other personal reason. I see it all the time over at the Cruisers Forum.

Thank you.

It's nothing but a crazy speculation.

Went by this page again

https://www.crewfinders.com/yachtcrewsalaries.shtml

To find out what I need and the yearly cost for this.
1.3 million.

Includes
Captain
First officer
Chief Engineer
Above is needed to run the superyacht safely
and:
Culinary Trained Chef
Chef/Cook
2X Chief Steward(ess)/Purser
4X Steward(ess)
Is needed to give the passangers a great trip.

Edit
Then the additional cost has to be added.
End edit
