How much is this going to cost?
Neal is handling the money end but to answer Ivanks question and to make sure that all attendees know what they are getting into, this is what you can expect for costs during the meet:
Lodging 2 nights"$55 to $85 per cabin, per night. That can be split 2 and 3 ways http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...4&postcount=21 Tours and Admissions Battleship cove will be around $12 per person (group rate) http://www.battleshipcove.org/plan-admission.htm The Constitution will be about $100 divided among the group (ie 10 people would pay $10 a piece) http://www.ussconstitutionmuseum.org/visit/groups.htm USS Nautilus and Submarine Force Museum has free admission http://www.ussnautilus.org/visit/hours.shtml Ground transportation and fuel costs Since it doesn't look like we're renting a group vehicle, each driver should work costs out with his passengers. If we follow the plan figure on traveling between 180-250 miles during the meet, mostly highway, mostly weekend traffic levels. Mass transit (for those arriving via Logan) Figure about $20 per person. Food. This is the tough one to answer. We'll be eating out a lot and we'll be going by places where the food is very good. Other costs. Generally things cost a little more up here in New England than they do in some other parts of the country. For example you can expect to pay between $15 and $20 for stuff like T-shirts and ball caps at the various museum stores. Cigarettes are between $7 and $8 per pack (I had to look that one up!)

So if I bring $450-475, that would be okay?

Actually those figures are better than I was expecting. I'm happy to see them.

My experience with vacations and events is that it never pays to be impatient. It comes too soon and is too soon over.
