But I was quite surprise to see three escorted french convoy in sept. 1941 off the portugese coasts...

there were small convoy with 1 small merchant and one bigger, escorted by a french flower.
There were not Free French ships but Vichy France.
It's strange because the convention of the armistice, signed in june 1940, disarmed the French Navy...
Any idea ?
The Armistice allowed the French to keep their fleet - subject to certain restrictions. The French needed to escort their maritime traffic essentially betwen the the colonies and mainland France until France re-joined the Alliesi n 1943. It is quite a contentious and complex topic, but a good starting point would be Auphan and Mordal's "History of the French Navy in WWII".

sorry guys, i klnow im merely repeating what so many others have said, but HOLY SHEET! this thing is freaking AMAZING! and i havent even left harbour yet.... wow. This IS how a game shoud be out of the box.

yeah what a great mod!!!...question though..with deck gun...I have deckgun mounted but no ammunition?...but my flak gun has ammo?...any reason to this?...Thanks!

just startedmy 1st patrol and so far no probs, couple of questions though.

how do i turn of auto ship id? i remember reading a way to do it but i cant remember how.

i have GW 8 hours fatigue set in sub commander and ive been runnin at 256x but i have to change crew every few hours. i thought crew dont get fatigued over 64x time compression? the only other mod i have installed is longer repair times mod which is on this page.

i can also see 3 optional mods in the SH3 folder yet their folders are empty is this correct?

:rotfl:yes, i discovered it alone, last time i clicked and clicked
are the crew textures very high? on deck its getting realy slow for a while, in the boat too. in free cam mode its bucking when i can see my boat with crew. when i start to dive and they go inside its running very goog...

the 3 files in question are drifters realism mod, optional tweaks and longer repair times. shouldnt these files have files in them for them to work?
