Armed Trawler

Hi guys,

Would you happen to know what ship is SH5 armed trawler based on?

Picture - Armed Trawler SH5

It's 1100 GRT, as far as Wikipedia is concerned no British naval trawler was that large, so is this ship fictional or was it modeled after a real vessel?

Thanks! I began "disarming" it for my coaster project and tried to find some reference as to which parts of superstructure could be "civilian" and wchich ones were "military", as in - added during conversion to warship. Now thanks to you I found a photo of "Malangen" before conversion

By the way, in SH5 it has been waay enlarged compared to original.
