Default Flotilla torpedoes

Good day everyone.
Into my 4th week with this game and enjoying it. I would like to play around with the more advanced torpedoes but cannot solve the problem of getting them to appear as an option on the uboat screen prior to leaving for a patrol. I’ve scoured the posts and learned about changing the dates in the basic.cfg file but I haven’t been able to find information on how to have them show up at the flotilla. My career is presently based in Brest having been moved from Wilhelmshaven. I would appreciate help with this. Thank you.

You must also modify the Flotilla.cfg file in order to have them available in the Flotilla you want...

Richi Torpedoe Editor is a very good mod.

Takes a little time to set up each Uboat type, but well worth the effort for consistent eel load outs. I have mine set up according to JFO (Just Following Orders) load outs which are historical.

Default Flotilla torpedoes

Thanks to those of you that responded but perhaps I didn’t make myself clear. I do not wish to have the torpedoes pre-loaded onto the sub but have them available as a selection at the base prior to departing on patrol. I understand that the flotilla.cfg file has to be altered but I’m not sure how to go about doing it. When I look at the sub types (II or VII) I see that they’re pre-loaded with G7a or G7e types. How do I make the Type 4, 5, 6 or 7 appear as a SELECTION?
Thanks for the help.

gear Flotilla torpedoes

Create yourself a Mod with "JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler" (JSGME) for all changes. Do not change any Files direkt in the SH3 installation!

Study this post.
https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...06&postcount=2

Basic.cfg change all availability-dates under [TORPEDO_TYPEx] to 1939-09.

Year=
Month=
PrototypeYear=
PrototypeMonth=

Change also Renown needed:
Renown=0

Flotilla.cfg change like in above Link.

Append all Torpedoes as needed, in all needed Flotillas, in all needed years:
T0_xx0=10
T0_xx1=10
T1_xx0=10
T1_xx1=10
T2_xx0=10
T2_xx1=10
T3_xx0=10
T3_xx1=10
T4_xx0=10
T4_xx1=10
T5_xx0=10
T5_xx1=10
T6_xx0=10
T6_xx1=10
T7_xx0=10
T7_xx1=10
T8_xx0=10
T8_xx1=10
T9_xx0=10
T9_xx1=10

You have to be shure the xx are the same number as under its "Flotilla-Year"-Set and exist only once.

Done. Easy.
