Default Error Messages

I installed the game and got these error messages when I tried to play:

ps_1_x not supported in this version of the compiler

Data/Shaders/Interior Illumination/InteriorIlluminationP5.fx

Data/Shaders/Radar/PPIRadarP5.fx

Can anyone tell me what this means and how I might go about correcting it? I have a clean install with patch 1.1. Thank you!

I have an ATI Radeon 9250, so is that too old for this game? If so, what card can I get since all I have are PCI ports? Again, any help would be gratefully accepted....

Here are my specs from my Dell sheet:

P4, 2.8 GHz, 533, 1 MB

and last year I put in 2 G of Ram.

What I have worked fine with SH3. I've looked for gfx cards for my PCI slots, any ideas? Thanks!

I have a problem...more of the gameplay more than anything. I started my career in the Tambor class boat...I also added radar...the twin 20mm AA...and the 4 50's bow mounted. Now my problem is when I go to PD first I sink out of site and the first time was in shallow water and I bounced off the bottom...once I got back up to pd...I run with my bow down so much deeper then my stern that I have about a 20 to 30 degree down angle and my periscope doesn't even reach out of the water...is it because I mounted the guns forward vice aft of the conning tower? I doubt seriously that this game is so much that you have to adjust trim. Cause if that is the case I'm going to disqualify my chief of the watch as well as my diving officer for not keeping a good trim. DISREGARD...JUST DON'T PUT A GUN FORWARD OF THE CONNING TOWER ON A BOAT THAT IS NOT SUPPOSE TO HAVE ONE.

Would a Radeon X1300 be an acceptable game for this card? Thank you!

Anyone see a screenshot like this - notice the unwanted "striations" on the boat:

I am running a 7600GT 256MG card. Anyone know how to fix this?

Although not visible in that screenshot, I also get the "banding" on the deck texture with my 6800 Ultras (or one of them in single GPU mode).

Hi, I just saw a NVIDIA 6200 OC at Best Buy that was PCI. The reason I remember it is that it seemed to support up to pixel shador 3.0......but I'll leave it to the experts as to if it would work with SHIV.

What´s the error message? Maybe it helps to update the video card driver.

P4 3.0
1,5 DDR 400
Gforce 6600 GT AGP

The game drops the framerate drastically in the control room when i turn to see the navigator and the naigation map, if i face to the bow planes guy the fps turns to normal. Any ideas?

Default Cannot start game! HELP!

Hi, I just did a fresh install of both the game and the patch on a defragged hard drive. Sometimes the securom thing pops up, sometimes it doesn't.

I am running sh4 on:

athlon 64 3500+
2 gigs of dual channel RAM
6800 GT

It's above the minimum specs. It shows up in the task manager at like 95-100% of CPU usage! It doesn't start up though...

What could this be
