Default Post War Fletcher DD

Hi mates,


introducing my current work (reopend) on my post war style Fletcher Class Destroyer:


Model initially based on FletcherII by AOTD MadMax






A small list of features included:


- A lot of more detailed model adjustments (as visible)



- Working MK37 director with MK 25 Illuminator (somewhat simulated...)


- New 3 Inch MK33 Twin mount AA guns


- Hullnumbers (572 for USS Dyson)


- An assembly of working instruments on the bridge, such es gyro repeaters or rudder indicator



and many neat things more to come in order to create a better destroyer experience


Things to get done, but I still lack the ability to do so:


- A proper AO Map


- MK37 cam-view, that allows main battery target assignment (like Binocles) and target range information (due to MK25 Radar-Illuminator)


Helpful advice appreciated, if intrest in publishing this mod becomes relevant

Looks nice,, I've tinkered on the Fletcher and came up with this a fictional DD I call the Super Fletcher would love to see a pilot house of course we don't have subs to case depth charges and sonar that don't work would just be a waste of time messing with I do have torps ,, the ship is a menace to surface tasks forces

i built one when i was a kid. i think it was a 30:1 or maybe 36:1 scale. i painted it with acrylic. all 5 turrets and the torpedo tubes rotated.
it was beautiful.

but, alas, no i cannot help you with the TGA file. they are a mystery to me.
