Those subs are both really well done, thanks for sharing them Great to see custom control panels and crew assignments. Playing with a cramped boat with limited crew and torpedoes is a nice challenge.

Also thank you to BritishGuy for the Vanguard class, which is fun to use for the complete opposite reason!

Default Reverie

'Allo. Just discovered this game like, 3 hours ago; It's now 2AM. Love the game, decided to make a sub for it...The Reverie.

It's pretty big and well...Fat. A single reactor, 16 crew, 9 areas, 17 torpedos. Also decided to recolor the uniforms from white & dark blue to bright red & bright blue, 'cause why not. It ain't perfect, but it's functional, sturdy, and I've yet to run out of ammo while using it. I also buffed the diesel engines a bit.

I do hope someone finds enjoyment out of it, but really I made it because it was somehow fun making it. Switching back and forth between a text document and a debug program that needs to be restarted after every change, fun?! Sometimes I don't understand myself. Haha anyway, once again, great game. I can see many more of my sleeping hours will disappear towards this.

Certainly not going to run out of torpedoes in that sub! Nice work, thanks for sharing

Now you know what it's like to develop this game! Sometimes it's hard to understand why it is so enjoyable. I think there is a certain satisfaction in creating something unique & fun using really basic, primitive tools.

Default Manta

My first submarine: the Manta. I wanted to play around with interesting shapes instead of the conventional tube with fins. Might make a bigger nuclear version later.

Hello

Here's my attempt at seawolf.

It feature 6 tubes and 6 torpedoes + 6 in tubes. Unfortunatly loaders can't load all tubes. It seems that they can't recognies tubes put on top another.

If i find bugs i'll reupload the file.

It seems that Sub Commander does not fully support one steam turbine (speed is halfed).
Version 2 (link below) have two steam turbines and some fixes.
Version 3 esthetic changes.
Install note: just put seawolf folder in subs folder and singlereaturb folder in UI folder.

Sorry for my english

Cheers.

I'm happy that you like it, thanks. If you have any suggestions about seawolf posted by me, please write them.

It would be cool if author of Sub Commander could add support for torpedo tubes set like those on seawolf, and full support for one steam turbine.
Anyway thanks for this great game .

Cheers.

I didn't see the folder with the UI files in the Seawolf 2 file but it worked fine with the default one. I wonder if the sonar modeling is such that the game recognizes that a shrouded propulsor is quieter than the 688 type?

Thanks!

Seawolf v2 uses one of default game UI's, until one steam turbine will be supported. As for shrouded propulsor i dont think that it's supported yet.

Cheers.
