JMV: Sympathise with your predicament mate !

Have you got (or tried to obtain) a debit card (the sort that you can use to make withdrawals from Cash machines) from your bank?

As you are not borrowing money from the bank, they are more likely to issue one of these - never even had to ask for mine, they just sent it automatically.

Ordered FSX Gold today via the Utd Kingdom Subsim store link so there should be a couple of dollers finding it's way to Subsim.

Hoo boy, some nice gent just ordered this sweet deal through the Subsim Amazon search box!

I want to say thanks, mate. This Speed Cart cost nothing extra to the customer, but Subsim received a $14 commission for this.

And another fine fellow took a moment to use the Subsim Amazon search box to start his Amazon shopping, andordered some Adobe software.

Again, by taking just a second to start his shopping on the Subsim Store page and using the search box, he was able to exploit the system and help Subsim, at no extra cost to him.

Thanks, guys!
Neal

Oh hey I have a question about the Amazon link - if I copy the URL of the Amazon link that's here and paste it into the Properties of any other links to Amazon that are currently on my computer, will that have the same effect as clicking through from here?

hi Frau, no, I am not sure that will work. One of the drawbacks to the way Amazon works is I cannot test the links very well. But I have had consistent results when someone uses the search box to start their trip to Amazon, even if they search again once on the Amazon page and buy some completely different product than their original search.

Does that help? Thanks

Yes, thanks, I wanted to know because I'm in and out of Amazon a lot and have links to there all over the place on my computer, makes it too easy to forget and click on one of them when I'm in a hurry. I'll just change them so they point to a page here that links to there.

Thanks

The way I look at it, it's a great way to take advanatge of a behemoth like Amazon to fund Subsim, at zero cost to each of us. Why let that opportunity go unused?

Is the subsim store undergoing some sort of maintenance? I can't find this "amazon search box" anywhere on the page. Also a lot of the "click here" links are just normal text. Am I missing something here?

Thanks, man!

I checked just now, I see it right near the top of the page, under
Order anything through this search portal and Subsim gets a commission.

What browser are you using?
