Got To See Midway (2019 FilM Again
And found the part of the Nautilis interesting, being kept down by a Jap DD but them ha to steam off to catch up to the fleet leaving a noticeable wake.
As well as leading Torpero Bombers and Dauntless' right to the IJF fleet. Given that, could you almost say a sub won the battle of Midway? |

Midway new is almost pure fiction. If you want accuracy watch the original. I tried the Nautilus in SH4, it was very slow diving, sluggish and basically a none starter.
While the air strikes from Midway were going on, the American submarine Nautilus (Lt. Commander William Brockman) found herself near the Japanese fleet, attracting attention from the escorts. Around 08:20, she made an unsuccessful torpedo attack on a battleship and then had to dive to evade the escorts.

So, slow diving, sluggish, non-starters may be kind of my thing
