Another thing that disturbs me, my Lighthouse contacts have not answered my mail for the last week. That's a bad sign At the very least, Ubi and Sonalysts always replied to my questions and listened to our concerns.

Hi all

Bought this game yeasterday and instantly hoped for some patches but as already discussed, there seems to be a dead community and nigh zero visibility from the Devs since release

I will pop back here to see if Neil gets any Joy.

By the way how are you all,

I have packed SH3 away for a while and am currently WOW addicted aswell as playing Supreme Ruler 2020 which if the devs put some serios thought into their planned expansion looks to be a mega potential game.

Which is exactly what most wanted, some kind of verification from the devs. Which this is and it's great to hear no doubt.

I would love to see the dev team and publisher stand behind this title and fix the MP, but the lack of official response has been daunting.

The moderator in that thread in principal shows an attiude of "now you spend money on a beta, means: and unfinished product that should not have been released at this stage - so what?"

I was always at war with this kind of forgiveness for publishers rushing their games out in a broken condition and then expecting people to hope that what they already payed full price for eventually get fixed in the future (or not). With no other product category people buy this would be accepted.

If anything, the publisher deserves a spanking for having it released too early, obviously. forgiving it and being tame on them just encourages them to show this policy again with future relases (for they see they get away with it, and don't we see this behavior all too often with game releases, since years?).

I don't like to react to desasters. It's much better to plan and safeguarding against them in advance. we would have a better general game software quality standard in new releases today, if customers would be less forgiving.

totally agree with you........it is one of the pros for the console-lovers..they seem to sell more finished product

Pc devs/publishers know that they can put virtually anything out........and patch later. The majority of sales are usually first few weeks of release, and so theyve already got you....

If I am correct, TvT was published in Russia, something like a year ago.....that should have given devs enought time to pinpoint the major bugs and find a solution for them. The state it was published in now is totally unacceptable.

They expect (and find) that our money is easy pickings because so few tanksims come out.....

The pesimist in me ReM agrees with you 100%

There has been plenty of time for them to iron out the problems long before it arrived in Europe, so it does look bleak.

No, I saw that, it doesn't impress me. Oddly enough, it leads off with "Where can I buy T-34 vs Tiger".

The lack of response I am referring to is through the channels I have been communicating in, with the publisher. Up until this week, any questions I had were promptly replied to.

I would add the way a publisher reacts to input like yours to your review, Neal. Relation to customers is part of the package they sell, in my understanding.
