I did some searching in regards to the Mk 16 wake and came up empty. However, it's propulsion system did in fact differ from the Mk 14 in that the Mk 14 used a wet heater steam turbine and the Mk 16 used a Hydrogen Peroxide (Navol) turbine, so it's quite possible the Mk16 wake was diminished in comparison to the Mk 14. I tried searching out "Navol", and "Hydrogen Peroxide" turbines separately with No Joy.

I did run across some side facts that were interesting. One, being the Mk16 had the largest explosive charge of any torpedo designed and was used in ASROC launchers post WW2. The second being that even though the Mk16 were designed near the end of WW2, none were ever used during WW2.
