I never used Windows 3.1 but I can sure remember buying software that still came on floppies. Our first PCs at work didn't even have CD drives, which made it interesting when you needed to install or reinstall, say, MS Word or Outlook or the software that made your printer work, all of which came on CD.
 And I can still remember the HDD on my first work computer... it was a whole 1 gigabyte!

 My statement date for August finally rolled over which means all my rewards points for the past month's shopping finally got calculated. Time to order that new mouse/keyboard! Add one Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 to the tally! Edit 8/25: and today I ordered a coupler to hook a couple HDMI cables together. Oh and a new tv for my bedroom. SOMEBODY STOP ME!
